I just wanted to start a thread that lists the various ATV HP ratings. I will add to the post as I find the HP ratings. All HP ratings listed are measured at the crank.

All years 500 Foreman (2005-2011) - 26.7hp
All years 420AT (2009-2011) - 27hp
All years 420 S/ES (2007-2010) - 26.6hp

This info is from 2008-2009 CARB (California Air Resource Board)certifications.

I know that HP at the crank of the 450(stock) is about 46 and it it about 35 at the wheels. Probably doesn't help... LOL

It's 282cc....20 hp

If your quad isn't in the list above, look it up at this site.

Scroll down, look under green stickers and pick your year. Then just scroll down till you find your quad.

Yep only 20 but look at it like this a medium size tractor only has around 40. It's all in the gearing
