I would try hooking jumper cables to a known good battery and hook the other end straight to the starter and see what happens.

i will tommorrow and update it might be sylanoid but i just replaced but if it was the sylanoid wwouldnt it just tick and quite what the last one did

If it's the solenoid, it will start if you jump the two posts on top of it. That is, if the battery and starter are good and all your connections are good.

Sounds more like a bad battery to me or a bad connection at the battery. If you've got a good battery, the ATV should start even if it's not charging. It will run until the battery runs down. You can check the charging system by measuring the voltage at the battery with the ATV running, but the battery has to be good and fully charged or you won't get an accurate reading.

how u check that and i thaught wen u crank it there something in there that motor runs off of i didnt no lights and and all ran off battery thaught something charged battery wen it was runnin kinda like a car

The charging system does charge the battery, but even if the charging system isn't working, it will run off the battery until the battery goes dead.
