i was ridin my fourtrax today to pull a friend out of a bog i was in fourth gear runin along wen the differential close to my left foot started shootin gear oil out of look to me like a over floe or is that a place u supose to have a ruber hose to run to the front differential

Sounds like you may be talking about the transfer case. If so, that's just a breather. It's supposed to have a hose on it that runs up high to the same place the differential breather hoses run. I believe it runs up under the gas tank near the handlebars. You can run it up anywhere high to keep mud and water out of it. I would check the oil level to make sure it doesn't have water in it. If it gets water in it, it will raise the oil level and cause it to spit oil out the breather.

mine packed full of grease i dont get much water in it

yea it has water in it but that all i do is stay in mud and creeks so i gotta do something bout it that amsoil gear oil i run dont come cheap
