I see now where you are coming from lol, Fastas will have to help you with the GRs I have only worked on clutched atvs really so don't know much bout that.

i dunno really i think it is geared higher cause it is 2wd you want to go lower

The final drives are the same on the 2wd and 4wd. A GR doesn't have anything to do with a final drive. A GR is accomplished by changing the primary drive gear and the clutch basket gear to gears with a different number of teeth. Most of the time, the parts come from another model of ATV. These gears are located under the right crankcase cover. I think a GR for a Fourtrax 300 uses the primary drive gear and the clutch basket gear from a 300EX, if I remember right.
