Looks like it's been sitting for a while.

i couple months they said i repainted the racks and washed the fenders down clean cept 1 i forgot bout lol

I was just thinking that you may have to clean the carb if it hasn't been started in a while.

i drained it pretty good but we will cant start it with it stuck in gear have to get it in nuetral

still no progress cept i took spark plug out put it in cable and stuck it to metal frame and turned engine over and the spark plug did nothing, so im getting no fire at all

Did you put it in neutral? Did you try a new sparkplug?

ive tired shifting it but the green light and the red light stays on constantly with no change and the gear position just has 3 dotted lines and doesnt blink

Even though the gear position indicator shows "---" and the neutral and reverse lights stay on, were you able to actually change the gears in the transmission?

I don't think It can find a gear position if the --- 's are there. mine does the same thing. I think mine also if I pull the rear brake lever than it lets me start it in gear like that rancher guys chime in if I am wrong on that one. I know yours is much older than mine but may have somthing to do with it or the CDI may be bad just my opinon. really hard to say right now I got cat info swimming through my head from all thin week so far. O and the Cat Training center in Peoria is amazing these. guys got there act together.
