RE: snorkel problems
Welcome. Someone will be here soon to answer your question. LOL I am no expert on snorkels but I think you have to rejet the carb. I beleive Helmut will be able to answer your question.

RE: snorkel problems
You might have to rejet. You probably don't have as much air going into the carb, now, because of the snorkel.

RE: snorkel problems
is 1 1/4 even big enough for the eiger or do you need to be 1 1/2, but either way your gonna have to rejet.

RE: snorkel problems
I'd say a re jet. prolly down two sizes or more. 1 1/4" is alot of restriction. You may see about going up in snorkel size to reduce your restriction. I went 2", and had a dog. Still had to jet down. You will experience some power loss also, jetting down so much means less air and fuel = less power

RE: snorkel problems
LOL, Idk about "expert", but I've had my hands in prolly 10 or more set ups. An Outlander being the most difficult to run, but easiest to tune. Also Did an 850 XP, it was a headache also. Easy to tune though, with EFI and an aftermarket fuel controller.
