Just got done replacing the wheel bearings on a Honda Foreman, now got to replace the seals and bearings in the front diff. Lesson learned inspect your front diff for oil more often lol. Here are some pics and from what you can see no oil lol, but i have been cleaning the gears and the front diff case to check all the gears. The spider gears in the front diff are being a pain in the rear to get out lol. Hopefully when this is all said and done we wont have any slippage and knocking.

Grizzly wheel bearing removal

I recently removed the wheel bearing from my Grizzly 700, the bearing were really old and worn out and needed to be replaced very badly. When you first pull your wheel and hub, 9 times out of 10 the cage and the bearing will fall out, next you just remove the snap ring and pull the rest of the bearing and small stuff that will come out along with it. See picture below
 100_3566 (Small).JPG (Size: 72.92 KB / Downloads: 76)
.

Once the bearing guts( what i like to call them) are all out this might but you might see once this is removed. You might see this once that is all done.
 100_3567 (Small).JPG (Size: 75.49 KB / Downloads: 31)

next you rotate the wheel to where the inner hub will turn towards the outside of the bike, so for example if you are on the right front hub turn the wheel to the right as far as it will go. Same for the left side, now this is if you want to leave the hub on the quad. Now you can use a 1 1/4 inch socket, or anything you can find that same dia. place the socket against the back of the wheel bearing casing. Next grab your hammer and hammer the socket into the bearing casing, this will in turn push the casing out of the front side of the hub. Just in case it wont come out make sure you removed the snap ring holding the casing in place. Once the casing is all the way out it should like this.
 100_3571 (Small).JPG (Size: 65.75 KB / Downloads: 29)
